Find out what's making you sick and how to heal. Anthony William is the Medical Medium. Hello, I'm Anthony William, and you're listening to the Medical Medium Radio Show, where each week I talk about the most advanced healing information and secrets about health, much of which is not found anywhere else and is decades ahead of what's out there now. As I've always said, who has 10 years, 20, or 30 years to wait for answers for their illnesses? Life is precious, and we don't have any time to waste or spare. We all know that. So let's get started, get into the show. So today's show is about menopause, embracing menopause. Contrary to popular belief, menopause isn't a time of life that has to be suffered through. And menopause symptoms can be reduced and prevented. Today I'm going to share the truth about menopause and how to embrace this phase of life with more joy and greater health and more knowledge about what's going on. Feel free to call. You can call in at any time, of course, and we can take a look at your health. We can have Spirit do a little read and see what's happening in your health. Give us a call, 866-254-1579 in the US, Canada, International, 760-918-4300. Make sure you download a free chapter of my new book, Medical Medium, Secrets Behind Chronic and Mystery Illness and How to Finally Heal. Go to my website, medicalmedium.com. Download that chapter. It's a good one. It'll give you a whole window, a great window, into what's happening in the book. A little bit about me for people who have just come on to the show, and this is their first time. Since the age four, I woke up one morning and heard a voice perfectly clear, as if someone was in the room with me. That voice has stayed with me since the age four. I diagnosed my grandmother of lung cancer at age four, and it all began there. So wherever I go, whatever I do, whoever I'm around, doesn't matter if I'm in the mall, it doesn't matter if I'm in the movie theater, Spirit's going to tell me what's wrong with everyone around me, what's happening in their health, if they have any illnesses, if there's something that's not detected, is there something they're struggling with. The information comes through. So I've dedicated my entire life, of course, helping people, helping tens of thousands of people recover their health, regain control. And so that's about me. So today's topic, menopause, perimenopause, postmenopause, this is a big one today. It really is. I mean, we all know about hormones. We all know about the changes of life. But in this talk, we're going to talk about things a little different than the normal. Of course, that's how the medical medium show roles, information that you don't hear in other places. And there's reasons for that. Because I'm getting the information from a good source. It's coming from Spirit. And so this is a big topic. And I'm going to have to take you back a little bit into time. I know I do that once in a while. But if we don't go back a ways, we never learn or remember what went wrong so that we don't get an opportunity to correct and fix it as we go along through generation and generation. If we forget what happened or we don't know what happened, because it got lost along the way, then we just keep on making mistakes. And so we have to kind of go back in time a little bit. So forgive me, really. So with menopause, back in history, in the past, menopause was actually a really great thing. Yeah, it was a great thing. Women who went into perimenopause started feeling better. Imagine that. They started feeling better. In fact, as they went into perimenopause and menopause, they felt better and better. What I mean by that, more energy, less weight gaining. Interesting, right? More cognitive function, meaning like better focus, concentration, and no hot flashes, and more libido. How do you like that? This was in the past. Why did this all change, and when did it all change? Because this is what happened. You see, we always think that perimenopause and menopause and postmenopause means aging. It's actually the reverse. I'm going to drop this one on you right here. So you've got to hold on to your seats, OK? And stay on listening, though. It might shock you so much that you might not want to listen. But hold on to the seat. And what happened is that before the 1950s, this is what would go on. Your libido would increase. Sex drive would get stronger. Energy would get stronger. Because you don't age, and you didn't age during perimenopause and postmenopause. You aged in your 20s, 30s, and 40s, early 40s. That's when you aged. That's when damage is done. But you don't feel it until later on. And I'm going to talk a little bit more and dig deeper into that one. The aging process slows down for women after menopause, or during menopause. That's when the breaks are being put on. The reason why, because the human body's preserving to make the long haul to keep you healthy and cancer-free all the way into your hundreds. That's the programming that the body has. And it used to have this before the early 1950s. Something changed. And let's talk about that. So through nearly all of history, women viewed menopause as a saving grace. That's right. Better energy, a saving grace. But in the early 1900s, times were changing. We had lead cans. So everybody was eating out of lead cans. It's interesting, right? A lot of heavy metals. That's right. Radiation was rising a multitude of levels. I know you've heard this from me before somewhere. I probably spoke about this in some webinar or whatever podcast. But radiation was really on the upswing, especially with the bomb in World War II, the nuclear bomb. Radiation was raining out of the sky all over the planet. But nobody really cared about that back then. See, we care about that now when Fukushima blew up. And radiation is just raining on us. We care about it now a lot more. The times have changed. We're clued in. We're tuned into it now. But back then, when all that radiation was coming out in the early '40s, dumping on everybody, going crazy, we were feeling the brunt of it. It was giving us symptoms. But no one put the dots together and said, well, in history, women never had hot flashes, memory problems, loss of libido, energy loss, weight gain during menopause. It was rare. It was very rare. So why is it happening now? Well, no one put the dots together and said, maybe we just dropped a bomb in World War II, and it basically just clouded up the whole planet. No one put that together. No one put the other thing together too, that all through the '20s and '30s and '40s, when you went to the shoe store, you stuck your legs in an X-ray box. People have heard me tell that story before. But so women were getting doused with loads and loads of radiation every time they went to the shoe store. That's right. Every time. If they went 50 times a year for some reason just to try on shoes, they were doused with radiation. And it was usually-- oh, it was always unregulated, I should say. And a store clerk would press a deadly button right there, a shoe clerk. There's no doctor in the shoe store. Why, radiation was just saturating into women's bodies. But nobody put those dots together either. So coming on, hitting the edge of the late '40s, women started getting all these symptoms. And there was one more thing too no one put the dots to, was DDT. You heard of DDT. I don't think anybody here remembers the DDT signs that were all over the grocery store, where DDT is good for me. And they had a little child in the picture eating an apple saturated with DDT. And moms were spraying DDT. They were getting cans delivered at the house by the DDT salesman. So all the housewives were-- and moms and housewives were getting all the DDT dropped off so they could spray it all around the house. It was a big thing, it was popular. Absolutely. That was happening too all through the '40s. But now that couldn't have started any kind of hot flashes, right? See, I'm being slightly sarcastic there. So DDT was a huge one. And the radiation was another big one. And there was one other, viral issues. The age of the autoimmune and the viral conditions, the age of the Hashimoto's, the age of all the under-- I mean, the low grade viral issues, the epidemic that was occurring from pathogens, all started rising up into the '40s. So what happened was there was an epidemic of all these symptoms. Women were experiencing this. They were experiencing everything under the sun that you know about now, like the hot flashes and the insomnia. So we blame all these on menopause now. But they never caused any trouble prior to the '40s and '50s. Yeah. I mean, think about that. I had to pause for a second on that one because it's that much of a hard-hitting fact. It's intense. So basically, when women went to the doctors, there was an epidemic. And it was-- they didn't know how to handle it. So the medical world did not know how to handle this. So the first thing, the first line of defense was it was crazy women's syndrome. I didn't say that. I didn't say that one. This was in the medical books. It was called crazy women's syndrome. It was hysterical. It was this whole hysterical time frame because no one could pinpoint where all these symptoms were coming from. And so they listed it as crazy women's syndrome. So that was what was happening. It was the first line of defense. So they told everybody, told all the women that they were bored. They needed something to do. Now, you've got to remember, women just pretty much recently started voting at that point in the late '40s and '50s. I mean, they were voting for a while since then, but it wasn't too recent where women could not vote. I mean, we're talking-- this is a certain time frame. So sending women home saying, you're bored. Join the PTA. That was the deal. That's how they remedied these symptoms. But it was getting a little out of control. The pushback was hard, really hard. And women were complaining a little too much. So the only-- the consensus came about. And doctors all got together, and professionals got together and said, the only thing we can think of here is that these women are all somewhere in this age group. They're all in this time frame of their 40s. They're all in their 40s and 50s. And they're in their early 60s. So what connected the dots? It has to be hormones to change your life, even though it wasn't a problem before. And that's the birth of the hormone world, the hormone era we're in. That's it right there. Now, here's something funny. You may ask me and say, well, OK, Anthony, what about men? If all that was happening, didn't it affect men too? Yes, it did. But men had to hold a stoic nature back then. They could not complain. In fact, if a man had a hot flash, it was considered a work sweat or a nervous sweat. It was not considered anything else. And men were getting lots more of these unknown sweats, for instance, these hot flashes. Men were also getting depression. Men were also getting insomnia. They were getting all these things, but a man had to stay stoic among peers and do what he had to do to keep it cool. And women being the ones, the four founders of moving us forward in so many ways, say, hey, something's wrong. I have to tell someone. And thank God, because we need to know if something's going on. So women had that kind of other nature where, wait a minute, something needs to be addressed. I don't feel good. Men had to keep it on the down low in that era of 1950. So just a little bit more about that. So this whole epidemic occurred. So we blamed it on hormones. And the weight gain and the moodiness, the memory loss and the dizziness, the trouble concentrating, the hot flashes were on the rise. And this is the time frame right here when everything changed in the medical world. This is the modern era right here. So answers had to be somewhere somehow. So let's blame it on women's hormones. It was really perfect. It was brilliant. I'm not saying women don't have hormone issues. That's not what we're going to sit here and say. That's not it at all. I'm just telling you where this started. But if we don't look at that and we don't go back to that, we get lost. So what's going on then? What's happening? We've got radiation. We've got heavy metal poisoning, such as lead in our system, going back for generations. We've got mercury now in our system more than ever before. We've got thyroid problems due to pathogens and viral issues. We have food allergies. We have liver problems. You see, the world was less toxic in the past, believe it or not, in certain areas. And now it's more toxic than ever before. And women's livers take the brunt of it. Hot flashes come from liver issues, stored up liver problems, stored up liver toxins. So here's an example of how confusing the whole thing is. And now, all the same symptoms that we blame hormones on for women, all the same symptoms are in women in their 20s now. Yeah, because the world got more toxic. This is where I'm going. Heavy metals, mercury, everything's more so than ever before. Radiation is higher in history now than in any other time. Get Chernobyl. We're still suffering from that. We've got Fukushima. We're still suffering from that. We've got stuff buried in the deserts. Yeah, just buried underground. Lead vaults, we're still suffering from that. So it's at an all-time high. So heavy metals, radiations are at an all-time high. Of course, we have the viral issues that are happening now, meaning that's the thing that's affecting so many people in so many ways. We've got the Epstein-Barr viruses, the shingles viruses, cytomegaloviruses. We have all these different bugs out here now, different bacteria, different pathogens that we deal with now that you didn't deal with before. We have adrenal exhaustion. Adrenal exhaustion alone shuts off libido for women. I'm going to tell you something that you're only going to hear here. You're not going to hear it anywhere else. And the whole libido thing that women go through, that's because of adrenal issues. Now, here's what you're going to hear that you're not going to hear anywhere else. Is that women, they have a shutoff switch, as far as with their adrenals and the reproductive system. That means if their adrenals are lower, or underactive, or exhausted, there's no desire for sexual activity at all. So the libido goes down the drain. With men, that doesn't work that way. So this will be discovered later on down the road, that the shutoff switch is in women. So when women lose their libido, it's because of the shutoff switch that's naturally built into the body to save and protect a woman's adrenal glands. With men, they don't have that shutoff switch. It's an important fact. So women who don't have that libido, and they think it's menopause, or they think it's perimenopause, work on your adrenals. And you go to your practitioner, and you get some help for those adrenals. You go to your natural practitioner, and get some help for those adrenals. It's a really important thing that's happening right now that people need to address, the adrenal glands. So we have the adrenals. We have thyroid dysfunction causing these symptoms. We have heavy mental toxicity, radiation toxicity, food allergies, liver problems. All of this is far worse now than it ever was in history, and had a breaking point right around that era of the '40s and '50s. So we blamed it on hormones. Of course hormones can be off. You better believe it. Adrenals, that's the whole hormone thing. Right? Thyroid, that's the whole hormone thing. Those parts of a woman's body are supposed to carry them. Later on, for instance, the adrenal glands produce estrogen and progesterone, the perfect right amount to keep a woman healthy and active all through her 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s. And 90s. Without having to have a reproductive system, that's an overload with estrogen and progesterone. That's how it works. Because we go through perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause because the body doesn't want a flood, that heightened level, in that flood of estrogen and progesterone being full bore. Because then we get susceptible to cancers later on. That's how it works. So we age in our 20s and 30s. That's when we do our most aging. That's when osteo happens, believe it or not. It happens years ago and shows up later on. So when we think, well, we're in this time in our life, the menopause time in our life, post-menopause, we have to worry about our bones. Whatever was happening when you were in your 30s was where the bone problems were really underlying. Whatever was going on, not taking care of yourself. So it's that kind of balance that needs to be understood. And I'm going to go back to this. Now, there's women now because things have gotten so bad and toxic in so many different ways with the radiation, the metals, the foods, all the problems that we have going on, the GMOs, everything that's going wrong. Women are suffering from this early now. So women in their teens, 20s, 30s are all getting these symptoms-- hot flashes, night sweats, brain fog, memory loss, dizziness, trouble concentrating, loss of libido, weight gain, moodiness. It's all happening now with women that are in their 20s. So should we say that they're all in perimenopause? Maybe we should say that. I mean, right? And well, I can guarantee you that women in their early 30s will be recommended to go on progesterone and estrogen because of being told they're in perimenopause in the early 30s. That's already kind of climbing now. That's heading there now. So basically, where I'm going at is things have gotten so toxic. The younger generation is feeling it, and they're being affected. And so are men. So are young men in their 20s, same symptoms-- depression, insomnia, night sweats, cognitive issues of all different kinds, focus, concentration, everything, libido issues, energy loss, fatigue. So it's safe to say we're not kind of getting this part right. It really is. So what do we do? What do we do about all this? What's the point? Well, it's about taking care of ourselves. It's about recovering our bodies because someone's hot flashes could be coming from their liver, their liver being stagnant, a pre-fatty liver, sluggish, another person's memory loss or brain fog could be coming from some heavy metal saturating, a little too much mercury, a little too much aluminum, high copper. See, so somebody else might have some really difficult food allergies. And so it's giving them a little bit of fatigue, a little bit of brain fog. And then, of course, another person might have thyroid problems. Under active thyroid, you caught the thyroid show, hopefully. Go back, I talked all about the thyroid and how it works. And it could be a low grade viral issue in another person. So we have to kind of round it out and just improve ourselves everywhere we can and anywhere we can, including our hormones, our thyroid hormones, adrenal hormones. Of course, our reproductive hormones, absolutely. Now, I'm not saying that there's no such thing as some symptoms that can occur. It's true. But it's not what everybody thinks. There's a lot more going on. And because in the past, this didn't happen. This is new. This is brand new, brand new. Right off the line, right off the assembly line, this is brand new, what we're experiencing now. And hey, look, I've seen so many things happen with clients that just cleaned up their diet. They completely thought they were having symptoms of menopause, perimenopause, postmenopause. They cleaned up their diet, and it went away. All the symptoms went away. Of course, the reproductive system, they weren't having a cycle anymore. Of course, they weren't having menstruation. Of course, that was gone. It wasn't occurring. Say they're in their late 50s, but they're feeling great because they cleaned up their diet, and their hot flashes went away. And their thoughts, they can think clear. And brain fog was reducing. So yeah, because they were cleaning up their diets, and their livers were getting better, and their thyroids were improving, and their adrenals were getting stronger. So let's talk about some foods for menopause. Wild blueberries. You've heard me say wild blueberries before. Why do I care about wild blueberries? Because they're the most powerful food on the planet. They really are the most powerful food on the planet. Everybody wants to know the most powerful food on the planet, what it is. It's the wild blueberry. Antioxidants really help reverse radiation, help pull heavy metals out of the body, help get a liver functioning better again, help balance the adrenals, support the adrenals, because wild blueberries are adaptogenic. This is great for hot flashes, for everything related to liver problems, all the symptoms, insomnia, everything. So that's one wild blueberries. Apples, yeah, apples. An apple a day keeps the doctor away, right? That's ancient. It goes back hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of years, an apple a day keeps the doctor away. No one said an egg a day keeps the doctor away. I mean, eggs are fun to eat, but nobody says an egg a day kept the doctor away. They said apple. You know, that was the deal. So apples are really rich in boron, phytoestrogens. Now, phytoestrogens, I don't mean the estrogens that women produce. I don't mean those. I mean the estrogens that are coming at us left and right from plastics, from chemicals falling out of the sky, from the water being polluted. I'm talking about those estrogens from our reservoirs filled with prescription medications floating around in there. I'm talking about those estrogens. So apples are phytoestrogenic. That's what we want. Sesame tahini, that's a great one. That's also a phytoestrogen food too as well. It keeps things balanced, but it's also good for your liver. Great source of protein, sesame tahini. In fact, a more powerful protein source than so many others out there. Tahini helps with weight loss, fatigue, because tahini helps the adrenals. So that's something to consider. Avocado. Avocado is amazing for the reproductive system, for women's reproductive systems. That is the ultimate reproductive system food. So avocado. We were told not to eat avocados years ago. We were told they were bad for us. I don't know if any of you remember this stuff, or it's just me, but we were told that avocados were really bad. Just like we were told coconut, you know, coconut was poison. Coconut would make you fat. It was the bad fat, whatever, coconut oil. But yeah, avocado's fantastic. Supports the reproductive system, supports the endocrine system. Really helps regulate hormones. Avocado a day. Do an avocado a day. Yeah, that's not too much. Believe me, it's not. Black beans. Now, there's all kinds of diets out there. Diets that shun this and shun that. But those diets are roundabout. Someone might need a food that's being shunned. Someone might actually need that food, like black beans. Yeah, black beans. Really anti, really phytoestrogenic. Incredible, rich in phytoestrogens, those black beans. Really helpful for the liver. The antioxidants are helpful for the liver. Could reverse hot flashes. If we got our livers a little better, lot of these menopause symptoms would go away that women are having in their 20s and 30s and 40s and 50s and 60s and so forth and 70s, women are having. They would go away. If we take care of some of these things. Vitex berry. Yeah, vitex berry. That's a great one to balance hormones. And look, our hormones do get out of whack because we're bombarded with so many other things and everything's getting thrown at us. I'm not negating that. That's why I like a lot of these balancers for reproductive hormones for women. Like vitex berry helps get things back into check. It doesn't mean symptoms are being caused by reproductive hormones being out of whack. But we still want those in check and we still want those balanced. So that would be like the vitex berry. Barley grass juice powder. That's a great one. Minerals strengthen the thyroid. I like barley grass juice powder 'cause it pulls metals right out of the thyroid. That's what it does. My favorite company is Vemurgy. And that's really helpful. Black cohosh. Wonderful, wonderful herb. That one's great. Regulates the endocrine system and the reproductive system. Raspberry leaf tea. Balances hormones as well. It's a great one. And there's pocket gym. This is a little exercise program that I like because it's great for balancing hormones. It's a gentle movement exercise that helps to recalibrate the metabolism. I've seen people lose weight by doing the pocket gym. I've seen increased libido because it supports the adrenals. Remember I said the adrenals is why we lose our libido. Strengthens the heart circulatory system. So pocket gym. It's really easy to do. I mean, I even do it. It's like 10 minutes twice a day. I love it. So I think we got through this. Think we're getting some good information in there. So let's take on some callers and find out if anybody's having any trouble. Let's do that. So line two, Helen. - Hello. - Hi, how are you Helen? - Yes Anthony, thank you for taking my call. - Sure. - Yes, I've been suffering menopausal symptoms for a while. And as you spoke about young men also, I have two sons who are suffering extreme depression. - Which is actually was one of the ultimate menopause symptoms that was coined as menopause back in the 1950s. That was the one. All women were having depression. Men were too, but men were not allowed to complain about it at that timeframe. But that was it. And so women were allowed to go to the doctor and say, "Look, I'm depressed." And it was blamed on hormones. - They're in their 30s and they're suffering horrible since their 20s. - Spirit says, "Focus on heavy metals with them." Focus on heavy metals. - Right. - So, you know, do a little bit of heavy metal detox, gentle stuff, get their diets a little bit better. Will they work with their diet at all? - One of them loves avocados, I spoke about. - Really? - And the other one is on a vegan diet right now. - Oh my God. Wow. So totally into health. - Yes. And I hope it's working for him. I felt it was a little bit of weakness for him though, in a way. - Well, you mean the diet's not giving him enough strength? - I just felt like when he told me he was on a vegan, I felt a little bit of weakness somehow that he could use more support somehow. The oldest one. - Well, make sure that he's eating enough. Make sure he's eating enough every couple of hours. What happens is with depression, which it doesn't matter whether you're vegan or not vegan or whatever, just you gotta make sure you're eating every hour and a half, two hours because it's about blood sugar. When you suffer from depression because of heavy metals or other various things that cause depression, what happens is that your blood sugar can drop and then your adrenals will flood. They'll fill the entire body real fast. Like the adrenaline will flood because the blood sugar dropped. So make sure that he's keeping his blood sugar up. - Are they both- - If he goes too many hours- - For both of them you fill that also? - For the one that's going plant-based, make sure that it's every hour and a half, every two hours. With the other one with depression, it's still a heavy metal issue too 'cause I'm getting heavy metals from both of them. - The younger one? - Yeah, from you I get liver. That's what comes through from spirit with you is liver. - For the younger one. - No, for you, I'm saying for your thing, it's liver. So you wanna work on your liver. - Right. - Yes. - But for my youngest one- - But with the kids, yes. - Just to eat more often. - Yeah, not liver but... - Well, with depression you have to eat every couple of hours, every hour and a half because if they drop calories, the blood sugar drops and then adrenaline spikes and then it's gonna make it difficult to function if that constantly happens, that's number one. And then get them doing some gentle, do the barley grass juice powder. - And could I ask you something else? - So get that into the mix. Yeah, sure. - One of my nieces, they wanna do his directing on her, she's having so many problems and she's in so much pain and they've gone to so many doctors and they don't know what's wrong with her. And I would just like any kind of help- - They wanna do hysterectomy? - They want to do hysterectomy. - Know that that's not right. - How old is she? - She's 38. - But they haven't found a reason why they wanna do a hysterectomy? - No, they've done all sorts of tests and they're just gonna do this as another procedure I feel. - Spirit's not saying she needs to get a hysterectomy. - I feel that too. - I mean, yeah, yeah. - Is there anything that would stop the pain? She's in horrible pain. - Well, Spirit's saying it spasms. - It's what, a spasm? Is there anything that she could do? - Spirit says, does she take magnesium at all? - I've told her, yes. I've told her, I don't know if they listen. - What kind of magnesium? - She has the glycinate. - Glycinate? - Magnesium glycinate, GL1. Yeah, glycinate, yeah, yeah. And it's important, that one's the important one. But she's having spasms. Well, here's what's happened. She's having gastric spasms. So she's having colon spasms, intestinal spasms. She's having also muscle spasms. All that's what's happening. So, focused on magnesium. Can you get her diet better? Will she listen and take away some of the sugar and some of the other things that aren't so good, the wheat and the sugar? - I'm sure she would. I'm trying to work with her parents. Her parents. - Well, you're on track then. You're on track. You're doing it right. Well, I would get going with that and then try to reach out again so we can touch base again through here. Thank you. - You're welcome. So much thank you. - Okay. You're welcome. Bye-bye, Helen. Bye. So line three, Sue. - Hi, Anthony. - How are you? - I'm super grateful right now. I'm so thankful to you for everything that you, in spirit, share with us. And I follow your Pinterest posts and your Facebook posts. And I'm just been learning so much from you. And over the last two months, I have been trying to implement everything that you've shared from supplements to my diet, just everything, making drastic changes. But I was wondering if you could- - Spirit says that your adrenals are underactive and you have to support those adrenals because that's gonna be causing mood issues. - Okay. So I've been trying to make sure that I have something to eat every two hours. And I have been, many of the different supplements that you've recommended for adrenals. What is most important? What is most important? Because I do identify with a lack of libido with that. And the doctor does have, I take some Balsa for mood and also for fibromyalgia, pain, and degenerative disc disease, and arthritis. So I've been taking some Balsa and I've seen that's commonly interferes with the libido as well. - I'm not gonna speak with the spirit like mine. - Yeah, it's hard on the adrenals, that's why. And so you wanna do everything you can to support them. Nettle leaf is really important. - Okay, I just ordered the one that you had on. - Perfect, perfect. That's great. Yeah, and then a methylfolate. So look into a methylfolate, that's important. B12, that's another one that's important. - It just arrived today. I got B12 and iodine from the company that you have on T-Troupe. - Okay, fantastic. That's really good. That's really gonna help. And so this will help balance everything. It'll help with the adrenals. It'll help with the endocrine system and everything you've been through. - Okay, and when I changed everything, I got like a blister on an index finger on one hand and then on the side of the other hand. And I wasn't sure if that was from the dietary and supplement changes that I made, if I'd done something wrong or if it was just detoxing it. - No, it doesn't sound like you've done anything wrong at all, it sounds fine. Yeah, that could be a detox easily. How long you been on the Cymbalta, just a short time? - No, the Cymbalta has been, it's almost three years for the Cymbalta now. - Okay, so it's been a long time. Yeah, yeah. - Yes. - And what happens is, so you wanna do, are you cleaning up your diet as well? Because you wanna keep your liver kind of freed up and as clean as possible. - Yes, we have been on the lookout for wild blueberries and we get them when they come in. But I did go almost all plant-based except for my husband makes me lean protein for dinner. But I started to get a horrible pain in my stomach, like on the right side of my stomach, just underneath my lower right rib. And so I cut out the nuts and seeds and I did add some eggs back in at breakfast time because I had gone all the way, fruits and vegetables, like smoothies. You had a recipe pinned for chia pudding with mango slices. - That's amazing, that's amazing. - Yes, so I've really been trying hard, but my weight isn't going down. And I started walking at the same time, two to four miles a day. - How long have you been walking now? - And I'm watching the sunset every night. - God, you're doing lots of things. This is unbelievable. I'm really proud of you because this isn't easy. - I'm grateful to you for recommending that. I started it all, it was on Mother's Day, so that was in May and so this is July. So it's at least nine weeks, I'd say. It's been two months. And I know that some of my clothes are fitting me better, but I'm quite a bit overweight and it's just sticking there. And I tried all the liver things 'cause I know you had like your, the liver, the adrenals and the thyroid. And I just got iodine today when I came to be small. - You're still in the process, Sue, you're still in the process of healing. I mean, you just started with half of these things three quarters, give them some time. I mean, the only thing is you're gonna get upset at me is what's gonna happen because you're gonna have to buy new clothes. - Oh, if I have to buy new clothes, I will not be upset with you. - Well, usually that's what happens. Everybody gets mad 'cause they have to buy new clothes and reshop and it gets expensive 'cause when you start losing weight, you're really at the beginning process. You're healing. - Okay, so just stick with it? - Yeah, yeah. - Do a sequel down on the right groin, that area on the right side in the intestinal tract. It's inflamed a little bit. Stay off of the bad foods. Stay off of wheat. Keep off of gluten. Stay off of corn. Just keep canola oil out. - Okay, yeah, I wondered about the corn. - Yeah. - We did cut that out too. And then like, my husband made guacamole last week and he got some corn chips, but I went last night and got some veggie chips that are just like dried vegetables. - Yeah, the corn. Yeah, the corn is, yeah, Sue, the corn is gonna agitate the ileum down there 'cause that's the area that Spirit's showing me that's slightly inflamed. Plus you have scar tissue in the abdomen too. You actually have scar tissue in a couple different places in there. - Oh, okay. So maybe that, it gets in there. So it is okay if I add nesting seeds back in? - Well, you know-- - Because I cut them out. I cut those out and I stopped the supplements and I just stayed, I was still eating just like fruits and vegetables during the day and then whatever my husband made for dinner, but I had cut the nuts and the seeds out and all the supplements and I stopped them for a week to see if my stomach felt better and it did. - Yeah, what you wanna do-- - And then I was like really confused. - Yeah, Sue, what you wanna do is, nut butters are okay, that's fine. - Okay. - Because you're inflamed and you're inflamed down there in the ileum. So if you eat too many jagged nuts and seeds, you might catch one down there, but it's inflamed 'cause of the corn, not the nuts and seeds. So, but keep on going, keep on pushing forward with everything and just know like I'm really proud of you. - Well, thank you. And I'm so, just thank you for sharing your gifts with all of us and the history that you give us on how things came to be like metabolism and the history of where they got menopause being a horrible thing when it's something for us to actually rejoice in. That information is so empowering and I'm so excited. I can't wait for your book to come out. - Oh, bless you, bless you. Thank you, I'm honored, you're wonderful. Okay, bye-bye. - Thank you, thank you. - So line four, Sandra. Hi Sandra, how are you? - I'm good, how are you Anthony? - Good, good. - Thanks for taking my time. - So tell me what's going. - Yep, well, I have some of those symptoms you were talking about, like weight gain and foggy brain, but the biggest issue I have is the fatigue that's been going through. - Did the doctors tell you that you had a viral condition, like you had a low grade virus? - No. - Okay, 'cause you do, you have a little bit of Epstein-Barr spirit, it says. - Oh, okay. - Yeah, what's gonna happen is if you go to the doctor and you wanna get that Epstein-Barr tested, they'll test for it, but it's not gonna show active in the bloodstream today. It was active in the bloodstream 20, 30 years ago. And what happens is once it's active in the bloodstream one time, that's the only time they can actually tag it. After that, years down the road, it starts to affect you on a different level, but they don't pick it up at the doctor's office. So when you go in there and you're saying, hey, I'm totally, I'm tired, I'm fatigued, what is it? They'll pull blood from you, but they won't see present infection of Epstein-Barr. They'll see past infection, but doctors are not trained or taught that past infection can be just as troublesome. They just don't have a modern day test to figure out what it's doing. Like, is it causing the fatigue and so forth? But in your case, spirit says it's causing the fatigue. So you want to, you want, it's with you, it's about antivirals, low-grade viral. Do you have a good practitioner? Do you have a natural practitioner? - Yes, actually, yeah. - But go to your best natural practitioner and tell him that you want him or her focused on Epstein-Barr. - Okay. - Tell him that it's, yeah, and you're gonna get help and finally move forward. 'Cause just some great practitioners out there and once they get connected to what's going on, they all of a sudden, the light bulb start going on top of their head and the electricity starts going and then they know what's up. So thank you so much, Sandra. - Thank you, that answers that. Thank you so much, I so appreciate it. - Oh, bless your heart. So we have line six of Vicki. Hi, Vicki. - Hi, Anthony. - How are you? - Good, thank you for taking my call. Hey, I found you three weeks ago and I cannot get enough of you. - Well-- - And that doesn't mean I'm crazy, but-- - You're gonna make, my head's gonna swell up and it's gonna get big and it's gonna, you know, and then I'm gonna think like, you know, I'm like a big person. So-- - No, I'm telling everybody about you, but I cannot get enough of you. Like I said, I just saw you three weeks, or heard you three weeks ago, I bought your book. I'm on this adventure. And when I heard your show about supplements, I went and bought all those supplements, so I'm newbie. I'm starting with all the supplements that you recommended that-- - It's gonna help, it's gonna help your exhaustion. It's gonna help your fatigue. - Yeah, that's why I'm a train wreck. Everything, I'm overweight, exhausted, brain fog, and I've been on a hormonal replacement roller coaster for 22 years. - Sure. - So-- - So hormones are band-aids, they're band-aids, what happens is that-- - Exactly. - What they really are is they're a type of mild steroid, very gentle mild steroid, because our hormones in our body, they're steroids, that's what they are. We have our own natural steroids and they're in us and they help us and they can hurt us too. They can help us and hurt us, our own natural steroids. So what happens is when you have symptoms from other things going on, like your thyroid's hypo, 'cause it looks like your thyroid's been hypo for years. Yeah, so-- - They always say, of course, nothing's going through your thyroid. - Well, here's the funny thing about that. The thyroid test in today's day is as old as when cars were massive, they were gigantic cars, and children's seats were just a piece of metal with a strap going across. And there were no seat belts in the front of the car and the seat looked like it was just a park bench in the car that back in the '50s, that's the tests they're still going by. They don't know that the thyroid is much more, it's much more complexed, and so much so that 20 years from now, they're gonna find all new ways to look into your thyroid and to get different readings to see that you have a hypothyroid for another reason that's not showing up on their old testing that they're doing now. And you know what's sad? I'm the only guy talking about this. And I'm just a little guy, I'm not gonna be able to change the world, but as long as I can help you, that's what matters to me. But the point is-- - That's all that matters to me. - So-- - And so I got a cold too, so I'm all, I'm just a train wreck. So, actually, besides all the supplements I'm taking, what would you recommend I do for my hypothyroid? - Yeah, you want like a good vitamin C. You definitely want a good vitamin C for everything, for the thyroid, for the exhaustion that you're getting. You're having neurological exhaustion. It's like mild neurological exhaustion, Spirit says. You want a good vitamin C. - Yes, thank you. - Yeah, and so, you know, look for, don't, no ascorbic acid. This stuff is just poison, just no ascorbic acid. You know, do a calcium ascorbate. And look for a good buffered vitamin C. Start taking, you know, small increments of that every day. That's gonna be really helpful. Make sure that you're getting a balance of more leafy greens in the diet and a little bit more fruit and leafy greens. Make sure you incorporate more of those into the diet, okay? And then-- - Okay. - Just know that I'm proud of you and keep on going. And thank you so much for your support. I love you for that, thank you. - Oh, well, I love you. Thank you, Anthony. - You're welcome, bless you, bye. - So then we have Karen Line-Eat. Hi, Karen. - Hello. - Hi. - Oh, hi, thank you so much for taking my call. I am very grateful for this and I've been following you for a little while and I could add to all the praises too. - Well, that's it. - But we don't want your head to explode. - It's gonna get too big. We gotta keep you kinda, we gotta think you. - Probably deserve it. Anyway, I do have a lot of issues. I've been dealing with, I believe, it's a systemic candida for a number of years. I was very, very sick with it. I've been getting slowly better. Think it's affected other issues, you know, thyroid, adrenal. - Sore. - And then of course, menopausal. I've been having a lot of problems. I didn't even realize it was going on. I've been so focused on the other issues and suddenly I'm having, the doctor is concerned about bone loss and then I recently just had some hair loss. And I kinda think it's still the basic issues of candida and whatever other infections might be going on in my gut and affecting my whole body. - Taryn, you do have a lot of co-infections. Spirit says there's a little bit of E. coli in you that's been in you for about 40 years. - Oh, God. - So there's a little bit, that's okay, that's not bad. That doesn't mean it's bad. Little bit of strepococcal is in you too. So there's strep, there's a little bit of E. coli. Do you have a natural doctor that you see? - I have an integrative doctor. She actually had put me on a cleanse a couple months ago to get rid of, I think, the streptococcus that she did find in the stool test. I'm not sure it worked. - I'm really lucky that I don't have to send you out for the stool test 'cause Spirit always knows. So yeah, they see the strep too. But here's the deal. Still work with that. That sounds like a great practitioner because if she spotted the strepococcal, that's actually a really good sign 'cause Spirit's happy about that 'cause a lot of doctors never spot things Spirit sees. So that's perfect. Yeah, so keep on working with that practitioner for sure. And then still do a lot of the things I suggest all through these. I'm gonna do a gut health, a really good gut health show. I want you to tune in for that. But Karen, I'll have to let you go. I love you. We're running close to the time and we're-- - Oh, I also wanted to ask about my partner who has a bone marrow disease. - Karen, we'll have to try to call in another time. I can't wait.
